Nicolas Giusti

Nicolas Giusti has worked as a coach and conductor with international vocal artists such as June Anderson, Rockwell Blake, Cecilia Bartoli, Franco Bonisolli, Renato Bruson, Luca Canonici, Mariella Devia, Placido Domingo, Frank Lopardo, William Matteuzzi, Chris Merritt, Paolo Montarsolo, Leo Nucci, Luciano Pavarotti, Katya Ricciarelli, Luciana Serra, Diana Soviero, and Giuseppe Taddei.
He also has worked with leading figures in classical music, theater, and film, including Bruno Campanella, Robert Carsen, Rodolfo Celletti, Roberto De Simone, Armin Jordan, Peter Maag, GianCarlo Menotti, Riccardo Muti, Pier Luigi Pizzi, Lamberto Pugelli, Virginio Puecher, Donato Renzetti, Maurizio Scaparro, Sergio Segalini, Luigi Squarzina, Enrico Stinchelli, Alberto Zedda, Franco Zeffirelli, Michelangelo Zurletti, and many others.
As a pianist and conductor, he has recently served as music director of Utah Festival Opera as well as worked in opera houses and festivals around the world, including Monte Carlo Opera House, La Scala, Spoleto Festival Opera House, Rossini Opera Festival, Colyseum Oporto Opera House, Paris Opera House, Aspendos Festival, Irun Opera House, Avenches Festival, and Arena Lorelay Opera.
In 2023, Giusti joined Boston Conservatory at Berklee as a professor of opera studies. In addition to teaching his opera studio, he serves as vocal coach for Audition Techniques, and other conservatory offerings. Before joining the Conservatory, Giusti was a full-time professor (piano and vocal coach) for 23 years in the Opera Department at Italian Ministero dell’Università in Matera, Fermo/Pesaro, and Pescara, Italy. He also has taught master classes in Italian opera at many American universities, including Brigham Young University, Utah Valley University, Westminster University, and New England Conservatory, as well as in Europe at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, Accademia d’Arte Lirica di Osimo, and the Mario del Monaco Foundation.
